Oooh, shiny tight rope (tight-plank?) walking this evening! The cheap food was awesome too. Who votes for more cheap food?

I'm looking forward to the next few weeks - getting into passionate discipleship and revisiting fundamentals. Can't wait!

Who votes for OSSY being able to afford to send youth to CLW? Vote no to cheap food, vote yes for kids lives being changed!

Hahaha. Sorry... but the food is always cheap, just not as ridiculously cheap as tonight...

I really enjoyed tonight, especially since it was predominantly an introduction to what is to come!

I am SO excited about what is to come!! I can't wait to really get into what Jesus was like. Super dooper! I really hope that the next few SNL's have lots of stuff too them, rather than just "good feelings".

Agreeing with Carrie - Kids at CLW's is good. Follow up to CLW"s even better.

Honestly, I was really worried the plank might break... maybe that's a metaphore in itself...

Haha Paula I just had a very intense discussion with Warwick about CLW follow up... heated would be putting it mildly

I too was worried when they plant was bending... eeek. It bended a whole lot didn't it?

Yes but...cheap food is still good to have every now and again I imagine that chunk of food ran at a loss, so as to get rid of it all, but it was muchly appreciated anyway. Charge double for food next time, that'll help CLW

Do you think that our faith walk is like a tight rope? Do we even know when we're falling, or have fallen?

Indeed, the cheap food was very good.

I really love it how Pastor Robin thinks up things like the tight "rope" walking, but when he asked Chris to speak about the difference the other people's help made... I was like, isn't that obvious?

I think our faith is less like a tight rope and more like a plank of wood we're trying to balance and walk on. It bends, it could potentially break, we can fall off, but other times it can feel pretty sturdy.

That's a bad analogy.
