Matt serves a second pastor of Our Saviour congregation, mainly working with youth, and also as part-time chaplain of Redeemer College. He loves the grace and love of God that he has found in Jesus, and wants others to share in it. He thinks that fullness of life is really only found in being a disciple of Jesus and learning to live in the grace that God gives. Matt's life before pastor-hood includes degrees in philosophy and law as well as theology, and a five year stint in a country parish.
Pastor Matt is usually up for a deep conversation, and likes really engaging with people's issues. Matt is deeply in love with his wife Marie and proud of his children Elana and Josiah.
Chess is his longstanding game of choice, but other board games and console games get a fair look in too. His most intense moment of 2009 was riding a bull to raise money in order to sponsor youth camps. |
