Sam Dachs and Pastor Matt were a dynamic team with a straight forward message tonight. Bought together with four easy point, they shared their own experinces with the wonderful world of Facebook and social media of today. What does this mean for us? Sam Dachs challenged us with the thought that our Facebook is often how people will see us - are they seeing Jesus?
The ABCD of Technology
Approve - Understand it is here to stay, we use technology all the time - get used to it.
Bright - Not everyone out there is a good guy. Be bright and aware of the dangers.
Control - Know what you are using and realise it's limitations - it's up to you to check the privacy settings.
Disciple - We are free in Christ, but we need to think about how we use our freedom. We are called to live like Christ. Who are we? Who are we on Facebook? Who are people seeing us to be?
