Sunday Night Live is an initiative of Our Saviour Lutheran Church, Rochedale.
SNL grew out of a desire for young people to participate more in relevant and contemporary worship. It involves a large team of people in areas of music, creative input, testimony, teaching and prayer. Sunday Night Live is a worship experience, and usually includes a celebration of Holy Communion.
The focus of SNL is young people, both highschoolers and young adults, but it is attended by people of all ages. Its aim is to welcome those new to church culture, build up and empower God's people, and provide a place for them to minister to their friends and loved ones. A range of topics is addressed each year. Speakers come from our local community and beyond. Our pastors, Robin and Matt, provide solid teaching and practical application to our lives.
SNL is followed by OSSY Cafe, an informal meal served by our Our Saviour Senior Youth leaders, and with proceeds going to this ministry.
SNL provides the opportunity for young people to learn about small groups, youth groups and other ways of linking with others in the community. The SNL forum also enables people to talk, ask questions and kick around issues of interest in a safe setting.
